The double stroke roll, also called ’mummy-daddy’, is a basic rudiment; it consists in alternating right hand (indicated by white circles) and left hand (black circles) double strokes. This sticking is an ideal tool for boosting your drumming speed or for modifying the note flow within a break or groove. This course provides a video demonstration example, four technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as six drum grooves you can play along to backing tracks.
