The single paradiddle is an eight-stroke drum rudiment combining single and double strokes. This combination works wonderfully well with a binary feel/rhythm – both in drum grooves and fills. To achieve a homogeneous sound, please ensure that there is no difference in volume between the right hand (white circle) and the left hand (black circle) strokes. This course provides a video demonstration example, four technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as six drum grooves you can play along to backing tracks.
