A major arpeggio (or major triad) consists of a root/tonic, a major third and a perfect fifth. As with the seven musical applications, you can transpose its five diagrams (presented here in C) into any other key. In very different contexts, such as rock, pop, heavy metal or jazz, major arpeggios are the ideal melodic tool for improvising on major chords. This course provides a video of the five positions of the major arpeggio, three technical exercises with their corresponding recordings to get accustomed to them, and seven licks for putting them into practice by playing them along to backing tracks.
