Chord slapping consists in concurrently pulling two strings with the right hand index and middle fingers and letting them snap back against the fingerboard in order to pop simultaneously (“P”). That is why this technique is also referred to as “double popping”. If you add low notes with the help of the thumb slapping technique, you will obtain 3-note chords. There’s quite a lot to decorate your basslines with. This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
