Playing Eighth Notes
BASS GUITAR, Multimedia tutorials, Rhythm, How 2 Play Bass
The eighth note is a rhythmic value a bassist should master. It is a major component of any bassline. As an eighth note is worth half a beat, you need two of them to fill a beat (quarter note). Knowing how to handle eighth notes is essential to playing bass guitar. This course provides a video demonstration example and a technical exercise with its corresponding recording, as well as nine grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
