Shifting Positions

Shifting positions with the left hand is a technique which will allow you to slide smoothly and rapidly up and down the entire length of the fingerboard. This technique is essential for mastering grooves with lateral movements, changes of register, etc. This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
