This traditional bass technique consists in alternately plucking the strings with the index and middle finger of the right hand. When you play low strings the thumb should rest on the pickup, but it should move down and rest on the E-string when you play high strings. Once you’ve sounded the string, the finger in question should come to rest against the adjacent string or the pad of your thumb. This course is fundamental! This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
