Alternate Picking with a Plectrum (Pick)

The alternate picking technique consists in alternating downstrokes (from low to high strings) with upstrokes (from high to low strings). This technique guarantees rapid execution and increased endurance. It is an essential technique for players who use a pick. This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
