Jazz Standard Basslines

This assortment of jazz basslines is inspired by some of the greatest standards belonging to this musical style. The bass primarily plays walking basslines. In the musical pieces with an accented rhythm, it trails the guitar and piano, whereas in the slow tempos it rather “sets the basstones” – for instance in half notes. This course provides ten complete jazz basslines with their corresponding recordings and just as many “made-to-measure” backing tracks which you can use to play along to – as though you actually were in a band!
